Eric Chew

Managing Director

A committed and experienced legal champion in helping clients overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Eric is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and a Barrister-at-law of England and Wales (Gray’s Inn). Eric was called to the English Bar in 1997 and the Singapore Bar in 1999.

Eric has an active practice in commercial dispute resolution and corporate work with an emphasis in construction and shipping matters.

Eric is a Panel Arbitrator in the Law Society Panel of Arbitrators, Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration and Sungapore Institute of Arbitrators (Secondary Panel). Eric is also a current Co-Vice Chairman of the Law Society Alternative.

– One of Singapore’s leading system integrator company and succeeded in the High Court claim against ex-employees for conspiracy to defraud, the appeal arising out of the same matter, as well as the assessment of damages;

– Taiwan’s leading manufacturer of welding materials in an ongoing international arbitration against an American multinational and Fortune 1000 company over a dispute in China.

She writes for the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) and Banking Today (Hong Kong Institute of Bankers) and is also the legal advisor to the Singapore Association (HK).

Sharon speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Hokkien and is currently brushing up on her grasp of Cantonese, and Thai.
